Winning at Life: Lifelong Learning

Hey everyone! If you haven’t already, check out my post on a Desire for Self-Improvement. It will help you on your journey and motivate you to want to better yourself before pursuing the lifelong learning needed to win!

How to Learn
One of the best ways you can use that desire to win is to learn about the many important topics in your life. That can include listening to podcasts, reading books, blogs, the news, or watching YouTube videos and webinars. These are just some examples of types of learning you can use to accelerate your success.

What to Learn
There are two major components to lifelong learning. One is desire, which we discussed in the earlier post. The other is finding the knowledge that add the most value to your life. With only a finite amount of time on this earth, it’s important to make the best use of the time you have. By striving to learn new things and understand more about topics that significantly impact your life, you become capable of better decision making which will help you succeed at you go forward.

Here’s a list of resources to help you on your way!

This book is based on the idea that each person has an emotional love tank, and that to fill your significant other’s tank, you must use their “love language” and perform actions that are meaningful to them. The languages include: Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch.

Next Steps
This is just a small sample of the millions of options out there for bettering yourself. Over the next 2-3 months create a goal to focus on the area that is most meaningful to your life based on your situation and strive to learn as much about that subject as you can. Over time, you will grow in that area and become more successful.
